I’ve been sick for four weeks now. :( Its a virus or a couple of them. I can’t seem to shake it. I’ve been to the Dr. twice. But anyway, this last bout is a sinus bit and when I was done with the Dr. this time, I went down to Sugarhouse and bought myself a Moleskine. Later, after Liz’s car broke down and we had to have Rich come to our rescue and I talked him into stopping off at Smith’s so I could buy the nasal spray recommended by the Dr., the last step before the prescription he also gave me, and the juice, also recommended by the doc, I used the spray and went to bed. I woke up this morning feeling a little better. I used it again, and was suddenly overcome by a MAD URGE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE!
So I decided to go to Office Max for an innocent stick of glue.
So there I was, minding my own business, getting my glue, when what do you think happened?
I should have known something was going on when the binders jumped in my basket. An odd happening to say the least. But I thought “Cool, I can use these.” But then I had to get some paper to go with them. And I needed ink for the printer, I’m out of color completely and almost out of black, so while I was there…...
And then, out of the blue a Wild Band of Marauding Pens attacks me!! I fended off the erasable highlighters pretty well. But it was the colored retractable gel pens that finally took me down. By the time I got to the counter and the metallic colored gels, I had already surrendered.
... so you can see how an shopping trip for an innocent $3 glue stick turns into $78 :|
is there a point to this story? There is…...

and here’s what I’m still working on….....
I’m taking a break to post this.
Meet my new pens, glue stick, moleskine….. my journal needs a name
